At The Carolina Home, we believe your home should be authentically yours. We’ll never send you a design that only reflects current trends or popular styles, instead we’ll spend time upfront getting to know you, chatting with you, learning who you and your family are and how you move through your day to day. We want to know what you spend your time doing, what your favorite spot on the couch is, how you entertain, what cocktail you choose to unwind with at the end of the day - and seamlessly weave that into your mood boards, selections and final installation.
Through the design process, we aim to make you feel comfortable and heard. Our processes are streamlined, organized and thorough so that rather than worry about the timeline, you can have fun throughout the journey. In the end, some of our clients have said we know them better than they know themselves. Some clients even turn into great friends. This is the goal!

Hi, I’m Lynn, owner of The Carolina Home. I’m a creative-at-heart and slightly obsessed with all things interior design. Most importantly though, I’m a mama to two littles and one sweet pup, and a wife to the greatest of the guys.
I’ve been in love with home decor and the process of making spaces more beautiful and functional for as long as I can remember, helping friends and family with their own homes whenever I could. But it was my family’s move to NC from Boston, MA back in 2021 that took my passion to the next level. My husband and I bought our first home sight unseen, began renovating our first floor from afar, and interior design turned from my dream job to a very clear career path.
With a heart full of creativity and a gut full of courage, I stepped away from my job in advertising and marketing and launched The Carolina Home to help families realize the potential of their own homes. It is the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
While I lean towards a light, clean, traditional/coastal aesthetic, I love a design challenge (and making new friends along the way). I will take your home project on as if it were my own and ensure that you feel taken care of throughout the journey. I’m thrilled that you’re here and I can’t wait to help you make your home your happiest place.
A few things to know about me: I’m ALWAYS playing music, the beach is my happy place, I love a delicious wine (in a fancy glass, of course), building charcuterie boards is basically my form of meditation and even though I’m the proud owner of The Carolina Home, New England will always have a piece of my heart.
